Passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility

From adapted facilities to services, Paris-Beauvais Airport offers a range of services adapted to the needs of passengers with reduced mobility or that require assistance.

These services are intended for any people who have difficulty walking, climbing stairs, use a wheelchair, people who are visually impaired, hard of hearing and any person who is not able to move around and navigate their environment independently. People experiencing temporary difficulties can also benefit from these services.

Airport facilities

Our teams pay special attention to welcoming passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility in order to facilitate their trip.

Numerous PRM spaces are at your disposal in each of our car parks. Wheelchairs are provided by our services for the duration of your stay at the airport. All elevators and automatic doors are big enough to facilitate the easy passage of wheelchairs. Spacious toilet facilities equipped with grab bars are installed in our terminals. Vehicles authorised on the runway (Ambulifts) can take passengers directly to the plane, without having to use the stairs.

On the day of your departure, get dropped off at the drop-off point. We kindly ask that you present yourself at least 2 hours before the departure of your flight, at the check-in desks or at the reception of the airport. Waiting areas for people with reduced mobility have been created in both terminals to await for your assistance.

Flight assistance

To guarantee you the best support possible and minimise your waiting time, we kindly ask that you reserve your assistance when purchasing your plane ticket.

Assistance at the airport ensures you will be provided with the support services you need upon check-in:

  • To the bottom of the aircraft stairs;
  • To the top of the aircraft stairs;
  • To your seat.

This reservation must be made directly on your airline’s website at least 48 hours before your flight:

Please note: are you travelling with your walking stick or wheelchair? Your equipment will be checked in free of charge and inspected during your security check. Please contact the support services of the airline you are travelling with to find out more about the conditions of transporting an electric wheelchair.

In the event that no notification of assistance has been received from your airline, Paris-Beauvais Airport will make every effort to help you board. However, we cannot guarantee this support.
